You spend a great deal of your soccer season working on making the TEAM better so the off-season should be about making YOU better!

As any soccer player knows, the beautiful game is a high-intensity, contact sport that requires many technical and physical capabilities to play it successfully.  In addition to the necessary skills training, a soccer player must also have a high level of athleticism to be the best at their game.

TWIST Performance + Wellness TriCities is excited to offer serious soccer players a High Performance Strength & Conditioning Soccer Camp

JULY 6TH – AUGUST 28TH 2020

Program Overview

PHASE 1

Our High Performance coaches will set athletes up for success with a strong focus on movement basics and injury prevention. Athletes will improve acceleration and deceleration skills and perform exercises that will create stability through the key areas of the body used in soccer including hips, knees, ankles and core. By the end of this phase, athletes will see an overall improvement in their strength, and aerobic endurance.

PHASE 2

Using patented TWIST training methods and building on Phase 1, athletes will continue to improve their whole body strength and overall aerobic conditioning. In addition they will increase sprinting power and develop more explosive directional changes and vertical jumping power.

PHASE 3

By the end of this phase, our athletes will be physically prepared for the upcoming season. With the addition of plyometric training, the strength gains made in the previous phases set the foundation for developing the explosive power necessary for soccer. Athletes will also begin to develop their anaerobic energy systems to create stronger more powerful athletes. As we near the end of this phase, there will be a greater emphasis on recovery sessions to promote injury prevention.
